The kids have officially moved into their big kid beds with little fuss. Right after I put the bed together, I showed her the new bed and she immediately told me she was going night night. She crawled on the bed, minus the mattress and worked her way up between the wood slats to sleep on the uncomfortable bed. She loved it. I put Aidens together and then finished both of their beds plus put on the bedding sets. They both got Toy Story bed sets and plush doll's which eased the transition. They couldn't wait to go to bed and the whole next day Ashley kept asking me if she could go to bed. Needless to say she spent the most part of the day in bed.
The following morning Ashley carried Buzz and Wooding to the Kitchen table and sets them up in our chairs so they can eat breakfast like her and her brother. By Thursday Morning, Ashley was giving buzz a diaper change before breakfast as well. Diaper and All. Aiden joined in with a diaper and even went so far as to wad it up, tell me it was "Stinky" and throw it in the diaper pail.
This was also a day where Ashley used the big girl potty, but was to late the next few rounds. She likes getting candy for being a big girl.
By Friday Morning they had a new favorite movie. UP. And Ashley was calling me Snipe all morning and trying to feed me milk and asking me to follow her. Also helps that Dad brought home a balloon from church, so the kids were reenacting the movie with balloons and a mom sized Snipe.

Update on the Twins
Okay so numerous people have complained that I haven't updated the Hahn Twins blog. Well that's cause I'm usually updating Facebook, Twitter and my other blog first. So here's what's new with the Double A's as my Dad likes to call them.
Aiden and Ashley are 2 1/2 and give me double the terrible two trouble. Nah Just kidding. Other than a few dramatic outburst by Ashley and some crazy arm dancing tantrums by Aiden which are once or twice a week, my kids are really well behaved and sociable.
Ashley is the good eater of the two and will eat 3 or 4 bowls of cheerio's every morning and make little to no mess. She is obsessed with blowing her nose and asking for tissues constantly and will even wake up 2 or 3 times a night asking for a tissue. Her favorite movie is Shrek 2 and of Course Toy Story. She is the organized one of the family. Thank God, he gave me someone to help me when she gets older because I'm not organized at all. She is a Great Napper and even asks me politely to take a nap. She naps 1 to 2 times a day and if we are out and about doing errands she is the one that will fall asleep in the cart in the really awkward positions and then we get stopped every aisle by people commenting on her sleeping position.
Aiden does not like to nap as much as Ashley and will fight it tooth and nail but will usually fall asleep in the afternoon for a nap. But beware to the adult who wakes him up during a nap, my sweet Aiden will turn into the Abominable Aiden. One of the things that Phil prays over Aiden and did before they were born was that he would be a man of prayer and he is. When we sit down to eat our food it is Aiden that will remind us to pray over our food. Aiden's prayer goes something like this. "Dear Food, Amen!" He likes to pray so much that he will stop us 2 or 3 times throughout the meal to make everyone pray again. He wants to make sure that all of the food is blessed. I'm just glad his prayers aren't longer.
So that's all that I can think of so far. I'm sure I'll remember more later.

All About Ashley....
Christmas came and went and Ashley has become even more obsessed with Buzz and Woody. Both Grandma's, Hahn and DiPaolo have given them Toy Story Toy's, Dvd's and bedding sets but Ashley seems to have dominated all of it.She will occasionally let Aiden play with his Toy Story Toys but he has to ask Ashley for permission first. I know it sounds wrong that he has to ask for permission but it you know Ashley than you know she likes to have things in order and grouped together. She wants all of the toys to be together in the same pile and that includes Aiden's toy story toys. With her Christmas money she bought a soft stuffed woody and buzz doll that came with their own blankets and right now she is sleeping with the woody and woody blanket and has completely forgotten about her own blanket. We will see how long this lasts. No matter how hard I try to ask her if she wants Princess dolls or Tinkerbell stuff she only wants Woody and Buzz. I've been hard pressed to find Jessie the Cowgirl bedding or blankets.Ashley is the good eater of the two and will eat 3 or 4 bowls of cheerio's every morning and make little to no mess. All About Aiden.....
Aiden is the musical one of the two. He is obsessed with Guitar's or as he calls them, "TARS." He recieved plastic guitar from Phil and I for Christmas and he constantly is either playing that or the toy trumpet he got from Uncle Roger. And when we are at Bob and Janines its the guitar and the piano. Aiden is constantly singing or humming. His most favorite songs are Happy Birthday, ABC's and Big God. He also likes to humm the Disney and Fox theme songs.Aiden does not like to nap as much as Ashley and will fight it tooth and nail but will usually fall asleep in the afternoon for a nap. Bye bye Winter.
The twins are loving spring. We ate our lunch on the deck this morning and they loved eating while sitting in the patio chairs. Their noses barely came up to the table. But they sat swinging their legs and eating their cheeseburger.
Daddy swung both of them in their swing, Ashley loved it Aiden hated it. and after a great nap. They are hanging by our front door, saying Hello and Bye Bye to every car, person and dog that drives past our house.

Duck Puppets and ABC's
Ashley has become quite the singer lately. Singing her ABC's and of course my favorite, her own childish verson of a Jason Mraz song. The Sesame Street version of I'm Yours, which is called Outdoors. I can definitely see the difference between my son and daughter. She is constantly talking and singing while Aiden relies on age old boy tricks of pestering and nagging. He doesn't talk as much as her but he is very creative when it comes to getting in trouble or driving her insane. Even now i hear Ashley singing EIO DST. She doesn't get the alphabet even closely in order except for maybe ABC.
A couple of days ago I taught the twins Ring around the Rosies. And they love to go in circles holding hands and falling down. Ashley tries to do it herself and sings baby mumbling until she gets to Down, and then she throws herself down and claps. She even tries to force Aiden to continue doing it way after his patience is gone.
Aiden has been obsessed with puppets lately. Of course, his father is a fantastic puppeteer, and his favorite show is Sesame Street. Last week he took a clean diaper and bent it in half and was making it move like a mouth and talk. Today it was a duck puppet. He brought it to me, I helped him put it on his hand and he continued to walk around the house making the puppet quack and give kisses.

Ashley is able to pull herself onto the couch unassisted and crawl onto the window ledge. Uh oh, we are in trouble. While Aiden pursues climbing the dinning room chairs and drinking whatever beverage is left out for him to get. Coffee, pop, you name it he will drink it. It seems they have finally reached the age when their arms have grown 3x longer than the rest of their body. But everytime you look at them they are normal size. But if you look away for a split second. ZIP! That arm super extended super fast and they got whatever they weren't supposed to have. I don't know how they do it.
