To Crawl or Not to Crawl

So Ashley has officially been doing the scoot crawl , or what I think looks more like a baby seal, for over a month.  She is our speedy little girl as we chase her around the living room.  I've never seen a baby move so fast.  It also amazes me at the things she wants to play with.  For instance, our DVR or Phil's chain mail projects, our dog, my shoes.  She could care less about any of her and Aiden's toys.  While my loveable Aiden barely pivots.  He looks like an upside down turtle. He will hold his arms and legs way up in the air and wave them around but they don't make any contact with the actual floor.  He looks at me and smiles and waves his arms and gets really excited as if he thinks he is crawling. But none the less he barely moves.  He can turn himself around in circles though.  It just amazes me at the difference between them even though they were born only a minute apart.

Catching Up!

Well as a mother of twins, I can tell you that it is never boring.  You live life in the fast lane, because these kids are growing up way too fast.  But when you try and hurry then the slow lane is all the twins will allow.

Over the last couple of months, we directed the German District Kids Camp in Bridgman, Mi, watched Steve and Rhoda tie the knot, bought a house, tore up the house and refinished it, still continue to refinish it, run a Harvest Outreach, Directed a Huge Kids Musical, have family visit, visit family in Nebraska and celebrate Christmas three times.  All the while watching our twins grow start to smile, get teeth and crawl.

Ashley got her first two teeth the day before Thanksgiving.  and started crawling the week before Christmas.  Aiden on the other hand is huge but sadly no teeth and he is so not interested in crawling.

Sorry that I haven't posted but I promise to catch up.
